To Reheat

  • Remove the bagel from the freezer.
  • From frozen: Air fry at 170°C for 15–20 minutes until heated through and the cheese has melted.
  • If thawed: Air fry at 170°C for about 10 minutes.
  • Alternatively, microwave from frozen for 2–3 minutes until hot.

Notes

Stacey's Kitchen Tips:
• Shredded Swiss cheese works really well in these because it melts evenly through the bagel.
• If you’re making a large batch, I suggest setting up a small assembly line on the bench. This way, you can build them all at once.
• Wrapping the sandwiches in baking paper first helps prevent freezer burn and keeps everything neat when reheating.

Variations & Substitutions:
• Swap ham for cooked bacon or leftover roast chicken
• Use cheddar, tasty, or Colby cheese instead of Swiss
• Add spinach or tomato if eating fresh rather than freezing
