Prep Time:5 minutes
Total Time:5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups warm water see the tip about this on the video
  • 2 tbsp (40g) sugar
  • 3 tsp (10g) dried yeast
  • 6 cups (800g) plain flour
  • 4 tbsp (30g) olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven on its highest setting. Pizza is best cooked on high heat.
  • In a bowl, combine water, sugar, and yeast. It is important that the water is warm to the touch before adding the yeast.
  • Once the yeast has activated (goes nice and bubbly), add in the remaining ingredients.
  • Mix until just combined with either a mixer, bread dough cycle (this may take longer) or by hand.
  • Once the dough has come together, it is ready to be used to make your favourite pizza. There is no need to knead this dough.
  • Put dough aside while you prepare the toppings. Or prepare toppings beforehand and use the dough straight away, it works either way.
  • Roll out 6 bases of roughly equal sizes and add your favourite toppings.
  • Bake for 7-10 minutes. Stay close and keep an eye as they do cook fast. Enjoy!

Notes

There is no need to rest or knead this dough.
This dough recipe makes roughly 6 pizza bases depending on how thin or thick you prefer your pizza base to be.
