Scone Dry Mix

Instructions

  1. Dry Mix

    Combine dry ingredients together. Store in an airtight container or jar. 

  1. Scones

    Tip dry ingredients into a bowl, add the grated butter and stir. 

    Add water and use a knife to combine (Don't over mix). Add milk if the mixture is too dry. 

    On a floured, clean bench flatten the scone mixture to roughly 1cm thick. Cut into pieces or use a glass to make into rounds. Brush top of scones with milk and place on a lined tray. Bake at 200°c for 12 minutes or til lightly golden. 

Note

Cheese and onion Scone - Add 1 diced onion, 1 cup grated cheese, 3 Tbsp Parsley chopped. 

Date Scone - Add 1 cup chopped dates and 1/4 cup of sugar.

Add Ham and Cheese to make a savory Scroll.
