Easy Dairy-Free Coconut Yoghurt with Good Probiotics
This easy dairy-free coconut yoghurt with good probiotics recipe is straightforward and easy to put together.
Use your preferred methods for making your regular yoghurt. I have a Hansel’s yoghurt maker. It is basically a round plastic container that you pop a quart jar into and set overnight on your counter.
You could also use your instant pot, slow cooker, thermomix, or dehydrator as well.
How to make the dairy-free yoghurt
To make the easy dairy-free coconut yoghurt with good probiotics I just mixed two cans of coconut cream and two probiotic capsules together. Make sure your capsules have good live probiotics in them otherwise your yoghurt won’t set. Place the lid on and give it a good shake.
I then placed my jar into the yogurt vessel and put the required amount of boiling water in the bottom of the container. Be careful not to get the boiling water onto the glass jar or it may break it from thermal shock.
Set aside on the bench and leave overnight. The longer you leave it to set the thicker it will become. Once it is the right consistency, place the jar into the fridge and it will firm up even more.
Top with any of your favourite toppings. I enjoy a nice muesli and some fresh blueberries. You can sweeten the yoghurt up with some honey should you wish. You could also top your yoghurt on my overnight oats with caramelized apple
