Slow Cooker Comfort Pork Chops

Some recipes aren’t fancy or complicated, but they have a way of becoming favourites because they’re reliable, filling, and exactly what everyone feels like eating at the end of a busy day. This Slow Cooker Comfort Pork Chops recipe falls firmly into that category.

The pork slowly cooks alongside potatoes, onions, herbs, and stock until everything is tender and full of flavour. Right at the end, cream cheese and cream are stirred through to create a rich, creamy sauce that brings the whole meal together.

I especially like recipes like this during the cooler months when we’re looking for something hearty without spending a lot of time standing over the stove. Everything cooks together in one pot, making it a practical option for busy family days while still feeling like a proper home-cooked meal.

It’s also one of those meals that doesn’t need lots of side dishes. The potatoes cook right alongside the pork, so dinner is nearly complete straight from the slow cooker.
