No Time? No Problem! The Easiest No-Rise Pizza Dough Ever
Let’s be honest: sometimes the craving for homemade pizza hits hard—but the idea of letting dough rise for hours? Yeah, no thanks.
Enter: the no-rise pizza dough. Your weeknight dinner superhero. The kitchen equivalent of hitting “skip intro” on your favorite show. Quick, reliable, and totally delicious.
Why No-Rise Dough Is a Game Changer
We’ve all been there—scrolling through recipes at 6 p.m. and realizing you should’ve started the dough at noon. But life happens. The beauty of no-rise pizza dough is that it skips the waiting without sacrificing flavor or texture. It’s not about being fancy—it’s about getting food on the table fast (and maybe even impressing yourself a little).
This dough is ready to roll (literally) as soon as you mix it. No timers, no warm spots on the counter, no crossing your fingers and hoping it doubles in size. Just mix, top, and bake. That’s it.
If you sent hubby out to get takeout pizza from the Pizza Shop, you would beat him to it. This recipe is no fuss.
Who’s It For?
- Busy parents trying to get dinner on the table before meltdown o’clock
- College students with more cravings than counter space
- New cooks who want a win (you got this!)
- Pizza lovers who don’t feel like planning ahead
What Makes It So Easy?
It uses pantry staples. A few smart techniques help achieve the chewy, slightly crisp, golden base you dream about.
And before you ask—yes, it holds up to all your favorite toppings. Pepperoni mountains? Check. Veggie overload? You bet. Pineapple? Okay, now we’re getting controversial.
Tips for Total Pizza Night Bliss
- Preheat your oven hot. Like, “did I just open the gates of Mount Doom?” hot.
- Don’t overload on sauce or toppings—it’s a quick dough, not a doughy flotation device.
- If you’ve got a cast iron skillet or pizza stone, now’s their time to shine.
- Make a double batch and freeze one. Your future self will love you.

- 3 tsp (10g) dried yeast
- 6 cups (800g) plain flour
- 4 tbsp (30g) olive oil

- There is no need to knead this dough.
- Put aside while you prepare your toppings. Or get your toppings ready beforehand and use the dough straight away, it works either way.

- Roll out 6 bases of roughly equal sizes
- Preheat the oven to its highest setting on the fan-bake before you start preparing toppings.
